This week, Dale Byrne, our President & Chief Caring Officer was featured in a Monterey County Weekly Face to Face interview. You can see it here. We can clarify a couple things in the article. First, we have now collected and recycled over 100,000 cigarette butts with another 8,000 being recycled every month from downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Second, the 175 weekly session referenced in the article were only for our Scenic Pathway Restoration Team. All of our other Teams have varying schedules but collectively there have been hundreds of other work sessions each year.
